Airdrie Economic Development is involved in a number of initiatives.Economic Development Strategy
In 2007, we developed the Sustainable Prosperity Economic Development Strategy to focus our efforts. The Strategy focuses on four key areas:
- Business Development
- Healthy Communities
- Sustainable Business
- Investment Attraction
In 2007, this strategy received a marketing award from The Economic Development Association of Canada in the Business Development/Research category. View the strategy.
Projects and Programs
Here are just a few of the initiatives we're involved in.
We recognize the value of our local business community. To better evaluate, understand and address local business opportunities and challenges, we're developing a comprehensive Business Retention & Expansion Program. The program will be launched in 2009 and will include a business visitation program.Airdrie News and Updates
