2012 Property Assessment Notices

When are Property Assessment Notices mailed out?
City of Airdrie mails Assessment Notices at the end of January.

Why am I getting my Property Assessment Notice before my Property Tax Bill?
Each person's property tax bill is based on his or her assessed property value. By sending the property assessment notices in advance of the property tax notices, owners will have the opportunity to review their assessments and raise any concerns they may have about their assessed value before tax rates are calculated.

Since you are not able to dispute your Property Tax Bill, it is important to carefully review your Property Assessment Notice.

You can find the assessed value of your property and compare it with others in your neighborhood or throughout the city.

To access this information go to 2012 Assessment Values and follow these easy steps:

  • Type in your house number.
  • Click on the down arrow and find your street name.
  • Click on Search.
  • Specific information about your property appears on the page.
  • You may print this page, return and search for another property or look at an interactive map by clicking on any of these at the bottom of the page.
