Traffic Bylaw Amendment
Please note, at their regular Council meeting November 7, 2011, Airdrie City Council approved an amendment to traffic bylaw No. 803 which changed the posted start time for School Zones in Airdrie to 7:30am from the previous 8:00am start time. The change will take effect immediately, however Municipal Enforcement will be providing a warning period until all signage is implemented and advertising has occurred in the City. This change was requested from residents whose children attend schools with start times very close to 8:00am, meaning the children were traveling to school between 7:30 and 8:00 when there was no school zone in effect.
