Alderman Glenda Alexander
Alderman Glenda Alexander was elected to Council in 2004. She has three sons, a daughter and one grandson. Glenda enjoys sewing, knitting, crocheting and reading for both information and inspiration. She contributes to many Airdrie events including Moonlite Madness, Supplies for Success, Santa Claus Parade and is an active member of the Lioness Club.

Alderman Murray Buchanan
Alderman Murray Buchanan served on Council from 1986 - 2004, including 10 years as Deputy Mayor. He was member of the Community Services Board since 2004 and was re-elected as alderman in 2010.

Alderman Kelly Hegg has served on Council since October 2004. He and his wife enjoy camping and traveling with their two children. He also enjoys football, hockey and golf. Kelly currently is a school principal with the Calgary Board of Education.
