2010 Unofficial Airdrie Municipal Election Results

News Release: Final unofficial results

Voter turnout was exceptionally high at the Airdrie Municipal Election with approximately 31.57% from approximately 27,000 of eligible voters. A total of 8,524 residents came out to vote.

The unofficial results of the 2010 Airdrie Municipal Election has Airdrie with a new mayor, Peter Brown, with 47.57% of the vote.

All City of Airdrie aldermanic incumbents were re-elected for another term. A total of twenty candidates ran for the available six Airdrie aldermanic positions. The aldermanic candidate with the most votes was Murray Buchanan with 4,926 votes.
