Paying your property taxes

Property tax notices will be mailed May 30, 2017 and are due June 30, 2017. Failure to receive your tax notice does not exempt you from late payment penalties.  The City of Airdrie offers a number of convenient options for you to pay your property taxes:

  1. Monthly Tax Payment Plan
  2. Did you know? You can pay for many city services, including property taxes, online using MyAirdrie at select participating banks. It's a convenient way to ensure payments like property taxes are made on time, without having to worry about mail interruptions.
  3. At your financial institution
    • Airdrie Property Tax payments are accepted at most financial institutions via In-branch banking, ATM and Internet banking 
    • Select Airdrie Taxes and use your tax roll number from your current tax notice as your account number
  4. By cheque
    • Make payable to: City of Airdrie
    • Include the remittance portion of the notice
    • Mail to: City of Airdrie, 400 Main Street SE, Airdrie, AB  T4B 3C3
  5. In person
    • Cash
    • Debit
    • Cheques
    • Note: Credit cards are NOT accepted for tax payments
