Grass Cutting

Maintenance is carried out according to levels of priority as well as by various bylaws and standards determined by the Parks Department. High use parks “Level A” parks have the grass cut every 7 days. Sports fields grass is cut on a bi-weekly rotation, twice one week, three times the next. The grass is also fertilized, aerated, watered and controlled for weeds.
