Waste & Recycling Services staff checks the facility daily. Unfortunately, staff is finding material left on the ground. The Westside Recycle Depot is intended to be a satellite facility for quick drop off, it is not intended for larger quantities. Residents are encouraged to break down their cardboard boxes, clean containers, remove labels and crush materials where possible. The Westside Depot does not accept specialized programs (paint, household hazardous waste, fluorescent light bulbs, batteries etc.), household glass or plastic film. Please help keep the depot clean. Residents are also encouraged to call Environmental Services at 403.948.0246 to alert Staff to any abuse at the depot.
Thank you for your cooperation and making the depot a success!
