NoseCreek Valley Museum & Tourist Information Centre

Nose Creek Valley Museum in Airdrie offers an opportunity to visit "Life in the Past Lane." The museum represents over 100 years of the Nose Creek Valley history. A tour through the museum extends to the visitor and informative centre and provides an interesting glimpse into the historical aspects of Airdrie and surrounding area.

A walk around the museum shows displays of early farming and ranching, military and natural history. Also exhibited; antique automobiles, farm machinery and an extensive illustration of First Nation and pioneer life.

Annual special events include an Antique Road Show fundraiser in April, a Garage Sale in September, and the 5th Annual Teddy Bear Festival occurring in late November through to early January.

Nose Creek Valley Museum plays host to art shows and a monthly tea for members and friends of the museum on the last Monday of every month. There are two meeting rooms available for rent to the public.

The museum is the location of the Airdrie Tourist Information Centre, providing visitors with detailed information about places to see and visit in the area. Volunteers make cedar lawn furniture available for purchase to the public, proceeds of which are donated to the museum.

The Nose Creek Valley Museum is located at 1701 Main Street South, Airdrie, AB.
