What is ACCESS Airdrie?
ACCESS Airdrie is a shared 'curb-to'curb' service for those riders unable to use Airdrie Transit's Local fixed route system. This personalized service operates Monday-Friday (shared service with Dial-A-Bus on Saturdays) from 8am-6pm and is available to eligible riders with an ACCESS Airdrie eligibility card. How to Use ACCESS Airdrie
To use ACCESS Airdrie, please call the dispatcher line to at 403.948.8888 to arrange a trip. We kindly ask all trips be booked before 5pm the day prior. Please ensure that you are ready to depart when the bus arrives. Patrons of this service must have an ACCESS Airdrie Eligibility Card.

To mitigate the impact of rate increases and to ensure that cost is not a barrier to access the local public transit system, the City of Airdrie offers a reduced rate for individuals who meet a low-income qualification. Completion of an TRSP application form is required along with a copy of proof of coverage under one of the government programs: GIS (Guaranteed Income Supplement), Alberta Child Health Benefit, AISH (Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped), SFI (Supports for Independence), Alberta Seniors Benefit and income guidelines.
Cancellation/Late Cancellation/No Show
Should you no longer require an ACCESS Airdrie trip, please contact the dispatch line at 403.948.8888 as soon as possible. Trips cancelled without 24 hours notice may be subject to a fee equal to the amount of the missed trip and/or advance booking privileges may be revoked.

Applications can be obtained by calling the City of Airdrie Transit Department at 403.948.8875, or by downloading the ACCESS Airdrie eligibility application form that you can print off.
ACCESS Airdrie to Calgary
For medical/professional services unavailable in Airdrie, ACCESS Airdrie offers a once weekly service to Calgary on Tuesdays between 8am - 4:30pm. Riders require an ACCESS Airdrie eligibility card. For more information please visit Airdrie City Hall or contact Airdrie Transit at 403.948.8875.
In addition, a change to the booking policy permits ACCESS Airdrie eligible clients to use the ACCESS Airdrie to Calgary service to visit family and loved ones in hospitals and extended living facilities in Calgary. This service is based on availability and on a first-come-first-served basis.\

Holiday Service
On the following Statutory and proclaimed holidays, Airdrie Transit service will not be provided: New Years Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Heritage Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
