Intercity Express (ICE) Service:

The Airdrie Intercity Express (ICE) is your easy weekday connection between Airdrie and Calgary. The service runs from Monday to Friday (excluding Statuatory holidays). ICE does not currently operate on weekends.

Accessible, affordable and convenient, ICE offers two routes that provide easy access to downtown with transfers via Calgary Transit (separate fare required) to destinations such as SAIT, Foothills Hospital, the University of Calgary, Calgary International Airport and many other service and employment nodes.

New low-floor, articulating buses feature bike racks, comfortable high-back seats and air conditioning for a relaxing ride to work or home.

Fares

ICE accepts three different types of fare payment - cash on board, tickets and monthly passes. ICE monthly passes are also accepted on Local Transit. Tickets and monthly passes are currently available for purchase at:

• Airdrie City Hall (400 Main Street, SE)
• Genesis Place (800 East Lake Blvd, NE)
• Shoppers Drug Mart on Main Street (804 Main Street, SE)
• Shoppers Drug Mart on 8th Street (836 1st Ave, NW)
  
• Calgary Co-op (Airdrie Location, 2700 Main Street, SE)
• Calgary Transit Customer Service Centre (224- 7th Ave SW, Calgary).
