Airdrie RCMP and the City of Airdrie investigating vandalism

AIRDRIE, ALBERTA – On February 5, 2015 the City of Airdrie Parks department reported multiple incidents of vandalism. All appear to be related.

Parks staff noted spray paint and damage to numerous utility boxes, fences and walkways beginning in the Summerhill area, continuing through Nose Creek Park, Ridgegate area and into the Tower Lane Mall area of Airdrie.

Parks staff are in the community every day and have confirmed that all incidents occurred on the evening of February 4 or early February 5.

Airdrie RCMP and City of Airdrie corporate security staff attended and documented the damage, which all appears to be committed by the same suspect(s.)

Police and City staff are asking anyone with information to contact the Airdrie RCMP at 403.945.7200.
