Free parking and shuttle bus for CP Holiday Train visit

November 29, 2016

AIRDRIE, ALBERTA – On Friday, December 9, 2016 between 5:30 and 6:15 p.m. the CP Holiday Train will stop in Airdrie. The viewing area is on the east side of the tracks beside the Nose Creek Valley Museum. This free event benefits the Airdrie Food Bank, however, traffic congestion and limited parking are a reality each year, therefore the City of Airdrie is offering a new service this year.

A free shuttle bus service will leave from City Hall on Main St. directly to the viewing area; it will run every five minutes. The shuttle will have priority access to the viewing area, providing a safe and easy way to enjoy the show. City Hall parking is free and City Hall washrooms will be open during this time.

Shuttle from City Hall every five minutes from 4:40 to 5:50 p.m.

Shuttle from Nose Creek Park (Main St beside Street Art Gallery) every five minutes from 6 to 7 p.m.
