Genesis Place Satisfaction Survey underway
December 19, 2016 / For Immediate Release
AIRDRIE, ALBERTA – The City of Airdrie is working with Banister Research & Consulting Ltd. to conduct a Genesis Place Satisfaction Survey and is encouraging local residents to respond online before January 6, 2017.
The objectives of the research includes identifying user and non-user satisfaction levels, as well as determining barriers to purchasing a pass and identifying the factors that would encourage non-users to utilize the facility.
“We’re using a multi-pronged approach of telephone and web surveys, plus focus groups, to understand how citizens perceive the value of Genesis Place as a multi-use recreation facility, and to identify how Genesis Place currently meets the community needs,” says Greg Lockert, Genesis Place Manager. “We will use this feedback as part of our consideration process when we review our programs and services.”
The web survey takes less than 15 minutes to complete. The results from both the telephone and online surveys, along with the results from the focus groups, will be compiled and presented to City Council, administration and the community this spring. All responses are confidential and results will be aggregated.
