Shuttle bus service from City Hall for CP Holiday Train visit

Nov. 21/ For Immediate Release

AIRDRIE, ALBERTA – On Thursday, Dec. 7 2017 between 5:30 and 6:45 p.m., the CP Holiday Train will stop in Airdrie. The viewing area is on the east side of the tracks beside the Nose Creek Valley Museum. This free event is open to the public and the Airdrie Food Bank will be accepting donations on site the night of the event.

Due to hosting a large number of spectators in the area, the City will offer a free shuttle bus service from City Hall to the viewing area to minimize traffic congestion; there will be limited onsite parking for the public.

The shuttle bus service will leave from City Hall on Main St. directly to the viewing area; it will run every seven minutes. The shuttle will have priority access to the viewing area, providing a safe and easy way to enjoy the show. City Hall parking is free and City Hall washrooms will be open during this time.
