Dec. 4, 2017/ For Immediate Release

AIRDRIE, ALBERTA – The City of Airdrie has released its 2016 Annual Community Social Report, and invites residents to view the report online to see the difference being made in the Airdrie community.

The City of Airdrie Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) Department created this 2016 Annual Community Social Report to highlight the successes of FCSS funded preventive programs for groups such as children and youth, family, adults, seniors and volunteers. The report also speaks to social investment and Community Development partnership programs and events that help develop strong neighbourhoods through community facilitation and Community Investment Funds.

“The report highlights positive change in Airdrie’s individuals and families that results from investing in FCSS programs, building meaningful collaborative relationships, and creating opportunities to enhance a social and culturally vibrant community,” says Jessie Bryant, social planner, research & evaluation for the City of Airdrie.
