Santa Claus Parade Urgent Care Access

Nov. 27, 2019 / For Immediate Release

AIRDRIE, ALBERTA – On Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. the Santa Claus Parade will take place on Main Street. Road closures will start at Veterans Blvd and end at Allen Street and will begin at 4 p.m. and will remain closed until 6 p.m. The Alberta Health Services (AHS) Urgent Care Centre at 604 Main St. SE will remain open during this time.

Starting at 4 p.m., three access points to Urgent Care (Allen Street and Main Street, First Avenue north and Main Street, and Veterans Blvd and Main Street) will be manned by Emergency Responders who can provide a preliminary patient assessment and/or escort to the Urgent Care Centre.

Unique this year, the CP Holiday Train will also be passing through Airdrie on Dec. 7 arriving at Nose Creek Park at 5:45 p.m. Due to the popularity of these events, we anticipate the evening festivities to be very busy. We recommend residents visit www.airdrie.ca/holidayadventure to plan accordingly.
