The majority of Airdrie Transit’s bus stops are fully accessible with concrete pads and connections to the City’s vast pathway and sidewalk network. The convenient location of our bus stops along major roadways reduce the walking distance to your closest stop.
Airdrie Transit provides Transit customers with two complimentary Park & Ride options:
- South Transit Terminal
The South Transit Terminal is the City’s primary transfer hub for customers. Customers can seamlessly transfer between Local and Regional buses to Calgary, six days a week. Should you need to wait for your connecting bus, the South Transit Terminal provides a heated bus shelter during cold weather along with 251 free parking stalls.
The terminal is located at 2985 Main Street South (immediately south of Airdrie Honda).
- Ron Ebbesen Arena Parking Lot
Parking for transit customers is available at the Ron Ebbesen Arena located at 200 East Lake Crescent. Customers using the 901 service can park for free in the parking lot by the indicated signage. The 901 bus stop is located on East Lake Crescent next to the parking lot.
Riding your bike to a transit stop is a great way to commute!
Airdrie Transit offers cyclists free outdoor bike racks at many bus stops, including the South Transit Terminal. These colourful metal bike racks provide a safe, secure location to lock your bike and ride the bus!
