Parade permit

Looking to plan a parade or procession? Approval must be provided by the City. Below are a few things you need to consider:

  • A parade or procession is defined as any group of pedestrians, including a walkathon, charity run or marathon, with more than 50 participants marching or walking in the street or on the sidewalk. It is also defined as any group of 10 or more vehicles.
  • The parade permit form must be received by the City of Airdrie Traffic Advisory Committee at least six weeks prior to the event to ensure adequate time for the Committee to review your application.

For more information on the requirements of planning a parade or a procession, refer to the Traffic Bylaw.
