Dewatering application form

Requests MUST be received a minimum of two (2) business days in advance of the work being performed.

The following is required to ensure this work in accordance with Drainage Bylaw B-03/2014, as well as the City of Airdrie General Design Standards & Construction Specifications (current edition). Failure to do so may result in fines.

No person may commence or carry out dewatering activities except with approval and in accordance with all conditions and the Drainage Bylaw. The City of Airdrie must be notified when pumping starts and when discharge is complete.

Acknowledgement

General

The permit holder will hold harmless the City of Airdrie, its employees and agents for any damage or damage claims arising out of the dewatering operation.
The permit holder shall, at all times, retain a copy of the permit at the dewatering operation location.
The permit holder must comply with all applicable environmental legislation and conduct operations in a safe manner.
Site inspections will be conducted by the City of Airdrie prior to dewatering and following the completion of dewatering operations. A City of Airdrie representative may visit site unannounced.
The permit holder will contact the City of Airdrie in writing via email if amendments to the permit are required.
The Owner and Qualified Person authorized by the Owner hereby warrants that all information provided to the City of Airdrie in this application is true and accurate and will abide by the City of Airdrie Drainage Bylaw B-03/2014.
