What class type is each fire extinguisher? Extinguishers shall be certified and have a minimum classification rating of 4-A:40B:C, and each extinguisher weighing not less than 20 pounds with a discharge rate of not less than 1 lb/second.

Except where otherwise noted on this permit as may be amended, burning shall be done in compliance with the Forest and Prairie Protection Act , the regulations made thereunder as well as the Fire Services Bylaw B-18/2018 as may be amended, burning shall be done in compliance with the Municipal Government Act, the regulations made thereunder and the following conditions apply:
Please check to agree to the following 1 Permittee is responsible for the safe control of the burning herein authorized; 2 A minimum of one (1) adult (per burn pile), capable of extinguishing a fire, must be in attendance at all times; 3 Sufficient tools, equipment or quantities of water must be readily available for the size of burn being conducted; 4 Post smoke signs if burning within 1/2 kilometer of a primary or secondary highway; 5 Consideration must be given to neighbours. Burning may not be conducted when wind blows smoke towards residential or commercial structures within 1,000 meters of the burn site; 6 Fire must be completely out by dark; 7 Site of burn must be 30 Meters (100 feet) away from any structures or standing timbers; 8 You may be requested to provide proof of liability insurance for any burn for which a permit has been issued; 9 $35 Non-refundable administration fee will apply; 10 In case of an Emergency or to report a wildfire call 911;

ExpiresThe expiry date can only be a maximum of 5 days after the effective date.
The Permittee agrees to indemnify and save harmless the City of Airdrie from all liability arising out of the operation authorized by this fire permit. The Permittee agrees to pay the cost of extinguishing fires caused by willful violation of any condition setout in this fire permit. Any person authorized to conduct burning pursuant to this permit shall be responsible to the City of Airdrie for the cost of extinguishing the fire.
