The Community Services Advisory Board is made up of seven citizen representatives and three Council representatives. The Board oversees leisure services, social services, (including Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) allocations) parks and transit. They make recommendations to Council on:
- Policy development
- Municipal reserves
- Programs (including Family and Community Support Services and Transit)
- Community Services budget
Members are appointed annually by Council at the organizational meeting in October.
Meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. and are usually two to three hours in length.
