Volunteer at the Bert Church Live Theatre

The Bert Church LIVE Theatre is Airdrie’s performing arts experience! We are always looking for dedicated, passionate and friendly people to join our volunteer team.

The Bert Church LIVE Theatre season runs from September through June and encompasses both our in-house Presenting Series, as well as rental events. Our volunteers help to ensure that our patrons have an enjoyable experience during their time in our venue.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting patrons and hand out show programs
• Scanning paper and digital tickets, and verifying details such as correct date & time of the event
• Assisting patrons in finding their seats inside the theatre
• Running coat check
• Selling artist merchandise
• Guiding patrons to exits or provide other instructions during emergencies
• Assisting in light cleaning of the theatre & lobby after a performance has ended

By volunteering, not only will you get to work with our productions and patrons, but you will also gain a unique perspective on our venue and the world of live performance!
