Waste and Recycling Services provides free in-person or live virtual presentations for schools, businesses or community groups of all ages throughout the year.
General recycling presentations
Cover City of Airdrie's diversion programs as well as the 3R’s (reduce - reuse - recycle).
Recommended for kindergarten - grade five or groups with a wide age ranges.
Presentation length and format can be adjusted based on age group.
Circular Economy
Introduces the concept of the circular economy and creates a discussion around REconsidering, REfusing, and REdesigning our lives without waste. The goal is to rethink how waste is managed.
Recomended for grade 5 and up, or youth and adult groups looking for a more specific presentation.
