Procurement Services is responsible for the purchase of all goods, services and contracts required by the City of Airdrie, and for ensuring that these purchases are handled in a fair and transparent manner.
Procurement Services controls and provides assistance to other departments with:
- tendering and competitive bidding
- providing a standard review process
- developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers

Auctions

Effective June 30, 2019 formal competitions will be posted on the MERX website. A courtesy notice will be posted on APC. This notice will contain a link to MERX where documents can be downloaded.
Vendors should ensure they are registered on the MERX system by contacting merx@merx.com or by phoning 1.800.964.6379 (Monday to Friday, 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. MST). MERX personnel will assist vendors with setting up their profile and opportunity matching. Be sure to note that you are a City of Airdrie vendor as it is a free service. Pre-qualification Opportunities
The City is accepting applications for pre-qualifications for our Roadworks Program, Civil Site Improvements & Additions (RFQ# 740-2017-RC).

Local Vendors Opportunities
Local vendor opportunities are intended for procurements under $75,000.
Local vendors must have a business license from the City of Airdrie. They are also required to have a physical address within the City of Airdrie for their company.

The Procurement Department holds vendor information sessions to inform all current and prospective vendors on how to do business with the City .

Purchase Order Terms and Conditions
The City of Airdrie has standard purchase order terms and conditions that are applicable to all purchase orders and purchases with the City.
