Proposed Amendment to Land Use Bylaw Section 8.1(3) (Land Use Map)

This public hearing is for any affected Airdrie resident to comment on proposed Bylaw No. B-07/2023 being a bylaw to amend Land Use Bylaw B-01/2016 by:

  1. Redistricting the subject lands legally described as Plan 2590GU, Block 3, Lot 4 (0.07ha) from R1-V District to C1 District (509 1st Ave NE); and, Plan 2590GU, Block 3, Lots 2 & 3 (0.14ha) from P-2 District to C1 District (513 1st Ave NE).

This is an amendment to Section 8.1(3) Land Use Map with no changes to the regulations. The purpose is to redistrict two properties located at 509 and 513 1st Ave NE, to allow the use of Child Care, Commercial. This is an existing commercial child care facility, previously known as Magic Mountain Day Care.
