City opens applications for the 2026-2028 Airdrie Family and Community Support Services (Airdrie FCSS) Funding Strategy

Airdrie, AB – The City of Airdrie’s Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) is now accepting letters of intent as part of their funding application process. This funding aims to support established not-for-profit organizations to provide evidence-based preventative social service programs and initiatives that enhance the well-being of residents in Airdrie.

The application process will commence with two information sessions on March 26 and April 2. Registration and attendance to one of the information sessions is required before submitting a Letter of Intent. These sessions will provide valuable insights into the application process and eligibility criteria. To be considered for funding, applicants must be eligible under the Family and Community Support Services Act and Regulation.

Key Dates:

  • March 26 & April 2, 2025: Information sessions for prospective applicants.
  • April 17, 2025: Deadline for submitting Letters of Intent (LOI).
  • May 2 – May 30, 2025: Application period for eligible groups.

FCSS is a partnership between the province, municipalities and Métis Settlements that develops locally driven preventative social initiatives to enhance the well-being of individuals, families and communities. The City of Airdrie participates in FCSS through its Airdrie FCSS initiative by providing support to local eligible social preventative programs.
