The City of Airdrie is looking for an interested party to run a food and drink concession in Chinook Winds Park, (200, 2853 Chinook Winds Drive SW) next to the Splash Park. The lease is for approximately 280 square feet of building space and the concessionaire will be responsible for providing all the necessary equipment and supplies to operate a concession-style food and beverage service. The primary months of operation are June, July and August. The concession’s hours of operation are negotiable and will be weather dependent.
Park Hours of Operation - 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily
Spray Park Hours of Operation - 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily
To be considered, interested parties must submit an Expression of Interest (PDF) by April 12, 2023, at 2 p.m. The Expression of Interest (EOI) should include basic information, such as the proposed concession name, hours of operation, a proposed menu and details of any past experience running a similar business. The City of Airdrie will review all EOI submissions and choose the candidate they feel is best suited for the concession.
The successful candidate will need to sign a Concessionaire Food Services Agreement that is open to further negotiation.
