Adult visual arts classes are intended for participants ages 18 and older. Registration include all necessary supplies.

Drawing
Work with a professional artist and explore drawing tools like H and B pencils, charcoal, blending stumps and graphite sticks. Learn core skills including composition, light and shadow, proportion, portraiture and creating depth. Build your confidence in this six week workshop.

Oil painting - inspired by the greats
Students will learn how to master the different oil techniques used by the most famous painters of all time. This class mixes art history teaches with oil painting practice.

Watercolour 
Students will learn how to use brushes and techniques to create their watercolour project.

Acrylic painting
Students will learn how to use brushes and techniques to explore various ways to express their creativity and imagination.

Creative arts exploration
This class offers a relaxed, welcoming space to explore different art forms. Participants will try a variety of materials and techniques while developing their own creative expression in mixed media, earth-based art, modern and expressive work, process-focused projects.

Mosaic
Students will create an 10" x 10" art piece using imagination and mosaic tiles to create an individual piece of art that is created from arranging images or patterns using small, coloured pieces of glass, stone, or ceramic tiles.
