Read adult visual arts classes descriptions
Adult visual arts classes are intended for participants ages 18 and older.
Drawing
Students will learn how to use coloured and graphite pencils to create their own drawings.
Mosaic
Students will create an 8" x 8" art piece using mosaic, a type of art that involves piecing together small pieces of tile to create a larger image or pattern.
Charcoal
Students will learn how to use charcoal to create textural effects and produce interplay between light and shadow using reductive and additive techniques.
Oil painting - inspired by the greats
Students will learn how to master the different oil techniques used by the most famous painters of all time. This class mixes art history teaches with oil painting practice.
