Candidate profile: Jay Raymundo

As a proud Airdrie resident, small business owner, and father of three, I live the Airdrie experience every single day through the lens of family, entrepreneurship, and community. My kids learn, play, and grow in this city, and I’m deeply invested in ensuring Airdrie continues to be a place where families thrive, businesses succeed, and opportunities abound.

I have been committed to running for municipal office since 2020, not as a last-minute decision, but as a long-standing promise to serve. Over the years, I’ve volunteered extensively, chaired numerous committees, and collaborated with local charities to uplift our community. I have listened, learned, and led, because I believe in action, not just intention.

Airdrie is evolving. I understand what it has been, and more importantly, what it’s becoming. We need leadership that’s proactive, passionate, and deeply rooted in the fabric of our city. I’m ready to be that voice. I’m ready to take action. Together, we can build a stronger, more prosperous Airdrie, one that reflects the values and vision of the people who call it home.
