In compliance with public health measures, the City of Airdrie wants to ensure our community's health and safety. Alberta Health measures do not allow for special event gatherings until Step 4, and therefore, we are unable to process special event requests until this time. Currently (March 2, 2021), outdoor events are limited to groups of 10 or less, and AHS is unable to approve events for the future until we are in the approved steps.
As we move forward as a province and the restrictions ease, we will begin to process event requests on a first come-first served basis.
The COVID-19 pandemic has altered the festival and event landscape for 2020 and 2021. Follow The City of Airdrie COVID-19 response page for updates related to City hosted events.
