There are a variety of festivals and events in Airdrie that take place throughout the year, showcasing arts, culture, heritage, recreation and sport. For more information on what's happening in and around Airdrie, check out the links below.
The Canada Day Parade will take place on July 1, 2018 at 10 a.m. on Main Street in Airdrie, and the fireworks will take place at Chinook Winds Park starting at dusk.
A family fun carnival event will be held on Main Street from noon to 4 p.m.
Please note that Main Street will be closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to accommodate the parade and family carnival. Click here for an interactive map of parade road closures.
airdrieFEST celebrates all that's Airdrie!
airdrieFEST is Airdrie's annual afternoon family street festival that will be held on Sept. 8 running from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. outside of City Hall.
New and exciting this year is “Music on Main”, a kick-off event to the annual outdoor festival that will be held on Sept. 7 from 6 to 10 p.m. where people will enjoy beer gardens and live music. Forty additional vendor booths have also been added to the Sept. 8 street festival event to increase the vendor number to 140.
The Santa Claus Parade will take place on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 on Main Street in Airdrie. Parade starts at 5 p.m. Roads close at 4:30 p.m. and reopen 30 minutes after the last float leaves Main Street.

The New Year's Eve fireworks will take place on Dec. 31 at Ed Eggerer Athletic Park at 6:30 p.m. Learn more by visiting Airdrie Parades and Fireworks.

The Airdrie Pro Rodeo is one of the largest 10 rodeos in Canada, and is the longest standing athletic event in Airdrie. The Rodeo will be held from June 28 - July 2, 2018.
The Airdrie Festival of Lights glows nightly from Dec. 1 - 31 from 6 to 9 p.m. in Nose Creek Park.
