All of our trainers have a minimum two year diploma or a Bachelor and/or Masters degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, Physical Education or Human Kinetics and have certificates through the following organizations; Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology, National Strength and Conditioning Association and Alberta Fitness & Leadership Certification Association.

Fall Prevention Workshop (Ages 16+)
Did you know that falls are the leading cause of injuries and hospitalization in older Canadians? Learn how to prevent falls with basic strength and balance exercises that can be done at home or the gym. This workshop will provide tips on how to get up from a fall and help you identify other risk factors that can contribute to falls.

Movement Essentials (Ages 16+)
Take the mystery out of movement in this personal trainer led workshop. This workshop will introduce the five fundamental movement patterns and give you strategies to incorporate these movements into your own workouts.

Foam Rolling 101 (Ages 16+)
Reduce pain, restore function and improve overall wellness! In this workshop you will learn to breathe, relax and roll through those tight spots. Discussion will be focused around benefits, contraindications and proper rolling techniques for a variety of muscle groups. Bring your own foam roller or use one of ours. All fitness levels welcome.
