City Manager Paul Schulz continues to build on 26 years of municipal experience with the City of Airdrie. After working in Planning and Development for a number of years, Paul held the position of Director, Planning and Protective Services for the City for 14 years. In February 2010, Paul was hired into his current role as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for the City of Airdrie. Aside from the everyday business of the City, a key part of Paul’s role is representing Airdrie’s interests in key discussions at both the regional and provincial levels.
Paul’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and a Master of Business Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University.
Active in the Airdrie community, Paul is a past president of the Airdrie Rotary Club, of which he has been a member since 1998. Paul also enjoys participating in volleyball and curling within the community.
