“Airdrie’s Volunteer of the Year Awards are very special,” said Mayor Peter Brown. “We are a very active volunteer community with lots of folks who volunteer in different capacities. What makes these awards particularly special is that people and businesses are nominated by their peers. On behalf of City Council, I would like to thank all of our local volunteers for their hard work.”

The City accepts nominations throughout the year. This year the City received 21 nominations in total. For more information on the awards, including the nomination process, visit airdrie.ca.
