The City of Airdrie offers five indoor ice surfaces for hockey, ringette, sledge hockey, figure skating and recreational skating at three arenas - Ron Ebbesen Twin Arena, Plainsmen Arena and Genesis Place Twin Arena. Dry pad rentals are available in the spring and summer.

Please note - Ron Ebbesen Twin Arena will temporarily close March 1, 2025 for scheduled mid-life upgrades and is scheduled to reopen Oct. 15. Learn more.

Rental rates effective May 1, 2025.

Fall/winter (Sept.1 to March 31) ice requests are due to the rental office by March 15. Rental contracts will be sent to all groups by July 31. Spring (April 1 to June 30) and summer (July 1 - Aug. 31) ice and dry pad requests are due to the rental office by Jan. 15. Rental contracts will be sent to all groups by April 1.

Rental Information

• Non-prime rates are applicable Monday to Friday 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Statutory holidays will be charged prime rental rates
• Weekday evenings and weekend ice times are generally fully booked from September to March by community associations and adult hockey teams.
• Prices include GST.
