Say goodbye to 2025 and ring in the new year with a dazzling 15-minute fireworks display at a family friendly time of 6:30 p.m. Bring your friends and family to celebrate New Year’s Eve with this annual, spectacular tradition! This free event is hosted by the City of Airdrie and is open to all.

Ed Eggerer bleachers will be open to the public for seating if weather conditions permit.

Last year’s event drew over 4,000 attendees, so plan ahead to avoid delays.

Shuttle service: Free, accessible shuttles provided by Airdrie Transit will run from 5:30 – 7:15 p.m. Pickup is at City Hall, with drop-off along East Lake Crescent. The shuttles are stroller-friendly and the first 100 riders will receive a light-up foam cheer stick!

Parking: On-site parking at Genesis Place is limited and will close once full. Overflow parking is available at Ron Ebbeson Arena.

Traffic control: After the event, RCMP and Municipal Enforcement officers will direct traffic out of Genesis Place and Ron Ebbeson parking areas. Expect temporary traffic flow changes to help ensure a safe and smooth exit.
