City of Airdrie Launches 2025 Social Needs Assessment Survey

March 10, 2025
For immediate release

AIRDRIE, AB – The City of Airdrie has officially launched the 2025 Social Needs Assessment Survey, a comprehensive survey designed to recognize the strengths of our community’s social services, evaluate primary social issues and identify gaps in social supports and services available in Airdrie. Building on the insights from the recent Social Well-Being Survey and the City’s Houselessness Estimation Study, the Social Needs Assessment will incorporate significant data on the well-being of Airdrie residents.

Mayor Peter Brown emphasizes the importance of community input, stating, “Our goal is to ensure that our investments in social services provide the greatest benefits to the residents of Airdrie. We want to hear from you about the social strengths, issues and needs in our community so we can strategically plan for our future.”

Residents will have multiple opportunities to share their feedback on social needs and issues in Airdrie. This input, along with insights from social service providers and those they serve, will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the City’s investment in social service provision in our community.

The City of Airdrie encourages all residents to participate in this important initiative to help build a stronger, more supportive community for everyone.
