Electronics & Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) roundup
Accepted material:
- Paint
- Oil, oil jugs, oil filters
- Chemicals (bleach, cleaning supplies etc.) -clearly labelled in sealed container, less than 20L.
- Aerosol cans (full or empty)
- Electronics including: audiovisual equipment, phones and wireless devices, gaming devices, small home appliances, lawn and garden tools (NO GAS), portable power tools, toys, and more to the Recycle Depot.

Note: residents can bring electronics and hazardous waste to the depot year-round.

Show off your upcycling skills for a chance to win a refurbished laptop from E-cycle!
Create something using only recyclable material or trash. Bring your creating to the Recycle Depot to be displayed and residents will vote for their favourite.
Voting ends: Sept. 15
Rules:
- Maximum dimensions: 2' cubed
- Only use materials that would be thrown away or recycled (no new purchases)
- If the material used isn't recognizable, label it
- One vote per visit to the Recycle Depot
