Property tax sale

Each year properties with more than three years outstanding tax arrears are offered for sale by the City of Airdrie, in accordance with the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26 RSA 2000, Part 10, Division 8.

There are no properties on the 2025 public auction list. 

Information for sales

  • Payments accepted up to the day and time of the tax sale
  • Payments for tax arrears MUST be made by certified cheque, cash, debit at City Hall, money order or lawyer's trust cheque
  • Property reserve bids are based on market value
