Indoor group fitness and wellness classes are included in daily admission, punch card and continuous monthly passes at Genesis Place.
Outdoor group fitness and wellness classes are free to attend.
Advanced reservation is required and available up to eight days before the start of class. Drop-in attendance may be permitted if space is available and must be confirmed by a Customer Service Representative. No shows may result in loss of ability to pre-book classes.
Classes with no reservations will be cancelled 24 hours prior to start of class.
Fitness classes are intended for participants ages 12 and older. Participants ages 12 - 15 must be accompanied by an adult in class.

The class is designed in interval format combining low and high-impact moves as well as core exercises, to keep the body guessing at each class.
Cardio Strength - Dance and Dumbbells
One part strength, one part choreography, all parts fun! This is body burning dance class might feel more like a party than a workout.
Cardio Strength
A different class format each time with intervals of cardio and strength exercises using all your favourite equipment.
Cardio Strength – Circuit
A different class circuit format each time with intervals of cardio and strength exercises using all your favourite equipment.
Cardio – Kickboxing
Kickboxing fundamentals with an added cardio component. Challenge your body with more than kicks and punches within the structure of this hands-on class.
Cardio/Strength - Barre
This barre sculpt class combines ballet barre, cardio, flexibility and strength training to tone, increase core stability and build endurance! Utilize weighted bars, gliders, resistance bands and bender balls for a full-body workout.
Cardio/Strength - Step
Step and Strength is a one-hour class that incorporates a combination of choreographed step exercise, weights, strength and conditioning techniques. All fitness levels are welcome!
Core and Stretch
Strengthen your core and increase your flexibility with pilates inspired moves.
Strength
This non-cardio workout focuses on muscular strength and conditioning using different equipment including body weight to work all muscle groups to fatigue.
Strength – TRX
You choose your intensity! TRX training focuses on building strength, flexibility and balance. Improve mobility and help prevent injuries – TRX training will elevate your workouts while changing the way you view exercise. *This class is appropriate for all levels.
Beginner Cycle
New to indoor cycling? Learn proper bike set up, how and when to use the controls and the proper way to move through cycle positions. In this 45-minute class, we’ll explore various speeds and intensities with plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Please bring clean indoor shoes, a water bottle and an optional sweat towel.
Cycle
This class is great for all levels. A high-energy cardio workout with a mix of hills, sprints, and intervals to improve your fitness level. You will leave feeling energized and drenched in sweat!
Cycle/Barre
A combination class of cycle and barre! Get ready to increase your heart rate, work your stabilizing muscles and core while improving your posture - all in one class! All levels are welcome.
Foam Rolling
Blend strength training, stretching and foam rolling techniques to roll the stress away. Improve your posture, mobility and revitalize your balance and flexibility. Massage and soothe tired muscles, release tension throughout your body and leave feeling refreshed and recharged!
Pilates
A low-impact workout designed to make you dip deep into your core and engage your stabilizers as you focus on slow controlled movements. Improve your flexibility and posture while targeting small supporting muscle groups. Feel big results with this workout for all levels!
Zumba
A traditional Zumba® class with easy-to-follow routines based on the integration of dance and dance-type movements, creating a high-cardio, high-energy, fun class.
Gentle Body Flow
This class is designed for individuals of all levels. It uses a series of gentle stretching poses, breath awareness and relaxation — no experience required.
Hatha Yoga
This class is suited to all levels and is designed to help improve flexibility, strength and balance through gentle yoga poses and breath awareness.
Restorative Yoga
Enjoy gentle, supported poses, focusing on the spine, hips, and shoulders. Take time to unravel hidden tensions in the mind and body.
Sit and Be Fit
This class will focus on stretching, gentle aerobic exercise, strength training and balance. It will improve flexibility, muscle and bone strength, circulation, heart health and stability. It is never too late to start!
Strength/Balance
The class focuses on functional strength training, gentle cardio and balance retention/development for aging adults.
Cardio/Mobility
A low-impact cardio class for those living with mobility issues as they age. Expect a mix of cardio and gentle mobility exercises.
Mind Body Chair
In this class, you will work on increasing your range of motion, flexibility, and balance through chair-assisted, yoga-inspired poses, stretching and breath work. All ages and abilities are welcome.
