Customers can book their trips up to seven days in advance!
Instructions for using the Hello-to-Go app
Once you have entered your trip information within the app, you will be provided with an estimated pick-up time and location. Your pick-up and drop-off location may be a traditional bus stop with a sign posted, or may be a “virtual” bus stop.
Virtual bus stops
A virtual bus stop is a designated location for customer pick-ups and drop-offs. Virtual bus stops do not have items such as traditional bus stop signs or bus benches. Airdrie Transit has created several virtual bus stops within Airdrie to ensure that your bus stop will be in a convenient and safe location for you!
All pick-up and drop-off locations (both traditional bus stops and virtual bus stops) can be viewed by clicking the Transit Map below:
Pick-up
Customers will need to be waiting at their pick-up location at the beginning of their pick-up window, as provided in the app, to prevent missing the bus. For example, a pickup window of 9:00am-9:15am, you must be at your bus stop prepared to board the bus at 9:00am.
Once the bus arrives, the maximum time the bus will wait for you at your pick-up location is one minute. This allows the bus to be on-time for the next pick-up.
Customers can track their ride, while they wait, using the Hello-to-Go app. The app will also provide customers with updates on arrival times. When your ride is getting close, the app sends you a notification!
Cancellations
If your plans change and you no longer require your bus trip, please cancel your booking as soon as possible. If you require modifications to your trip, we ask that you cancel your original trip and book a new one.
Additional Information
Customers can book a trip for multiple people. When booking your ride, select the number of riders that are travelling with you. Upon boarding the bus, the driver will confirm the total passengers boarding, matches the booking that was made.
Customers that are unable to book a trip, may be attempting to book during high demand times. We encourage customers to keep trying as the schedule is continually updating as spots open up.
