Child and youth sport and fitness registered programs are not included in Genesis Place facility passes and are available for public registration. Genesis Place continuous monthly pass holders receive a 10 per cent discount on registered programs.

4Sport Kids (ages 5-8 and 8-12)
One registration gets you access to four fundamental sports to develop a strong sense of physical literacy in your children that will last a lifetime! Participants explore swim, skate, sports and gymnastics. This program is in partnership with the Airdrie Skating Club and Airdrie Edge Gymnastics.

Speed Demons and Speed Demons Jr. (ages 3-5, 6-8, 9-12)
Caution. No speed limits here! In this six-week physical literacy-based program, kids get to explore various games, obstacle courses and challenges. Speed Demons teaches kids fundamental movement skills, disguised as non-stop fun. Appropriate for all ability levels!
Speedy Tots (parented class - ages 2-4)
Movement without rules, for two! Speedy Tots is a parented physical literacy program where you and your little one build coordination and movement skills together through exciting games, engaging obstacle courses, and playful challenges. This class is packed with non-stop, heart-racing, speed-focused fun, designed to get both of you moving!
Sport Explore (ages 5-8, 9-12)
Throw, jump, skip, balance and score! Sport Explore explores a variety of sports like soccer, dodgeball, volleyball and more. Sport Explore participants will join participants in our 4Sport Kids program to focus on fundamental movement skills and experience the joy of sport.
Youth strength training (ages 12-15)
A certified personal trainer will explain fitness centre rules and etiquette, provide instruction on how to use basic cardio and weight machines, and explain how to apply basic exercise principles. Youth aged 12-15 must complete this course to utilize the fitness centre without parental supervision.
Strength Training Basics Jr. (ages 12-15)
Strength Training Basics Jr. combines fun and fitness to teach essential lifting skills while ensuring safety through proper form and technique in a small group environment. Your instructor will guide the class through dynamic, age-appropriate workouts designed to boost strength, endurance, mobility, and confidence in the weight room. Parents can have peace of mind knowing their child is lifting safely and effectively. Strength Training Basics Jr. is a two-week registered program. At the end of the program, each child will receive a personalized training plan. Participants must have first taken the Youth Strength Training program.
Withdrawal from any program prior to program commencement date will be subject to a non-refundable $10 administration fee per program/ registrant. Once a program has started withdrawals will not be permitted.
If you miss a class, Genesis Place will not offer a make-up class and will not issue a credit. If Genesis Place cancels a single class, a credit for that class will be applied to your account.
Cancellations
If the facility cancels a program, a full reimbursement will be issued.
Genesis Place reserves the right to cancel and/or combine all aquatic and dry land programs (registered and/or drop-in) that have not met minimum enrolment numbers, without notice.
