Reserve a park or greenspace
Reserve a park or greenspace
The city has many beautiful parks and green spaces for community enjoyment and are available to book for any occasion. There are fire pits at various locations, an amphitheatre at Nose Creek Park, as well as a concession building at Nose Creek Park. These spaces are commonly requested and booked for functions, such as weddings, birthdays, reunions and walks or runs.
If you are interested in booking a space or an amenity, please submit a park or greenspace booking request. Staff will determine if anything further will be required to complete the booking and the organizer will be notified.
*Chinook Winds Regional Park amenities (with the exception of the baseball diamonds and volleyball courts) are all available on a first come, first serve basis only. Bookings at this park will not be considered.
Insurance and liability requirements
Some bookings may require proof of insurance with differing liability requirements and may depend on the nature of the booking. This is determined on a case by case basis, and will be communicated to organizers. Criteria for proof of insurance may be as follows:
- All inflatable devices and structures
- Access to the Nose Creek Park concession
- Access to the amphitheatre power source
- Alcohol sales or consumption in a park or any City owned land. Organizer must follow all Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission rules and regulations, as well as all municipal bylaws in public space.
Key pick up
Use of the fire pits, concession and access to the amphitheatre power source will require a key. Organizers are responsible to arrange for key pick up from the Parks office.
A $40 refundable deposit in the form of cash or cheque only is required when picking up the keys and will be returned to the organizer upon the return of the keys at the Parks office.
