Fire pits in city parks

Bookable fire pits are available to the community, thanks to the contributions from local scout groups, businesses and the City of Airdrie.

A refundable deposit of $40 is required (cash or credit card) Deposits may be dropped off/picked up at Genesis Place Customer Service.
Organizers/users are responsible for supplying their own firewood, water to extinguish the fire and all debris left behind in and around the fire pit must be removed.

Fire pit locations

Nose Creek Regional Park: Located at the northwest end of the playground
East Lake Regional Park: Located off East Lake Road east of the sports field
Coopers Discovery Park: Located at 101 Coopers Crescent SW

Bowen Park (Reunion Gateway & Reunion Boulevard NW), and Southwinds Park (Windrow LI & Southwinds CL SW) also offer small open grate barbecues (picnic style) for residents to use and enjoy on a first come first serve basis.
