The Utility Master Plan (UMP) focuses on water distribution and wastewater collection to meet long-range strategic and sustainable goals of the Airdrie City Plan, while addressing the needs of the existing and future systems under key milestone scenarios. The report was a collaborative effort between all concerned stakeholders and was endorsed by Council on Feb. 1, 2016.
The Utility Master Plan will be updated, as needed, with minor addendums to provide stakeholders additional clarification. This information will be used to update the future new Utility Master Plan revision.
The Wastewater Lift Station Needs Assessment is a further refinement of the UMP sanitary concept scenario C-2 (C-2B and C-2E) for the new sanitary trunks, lift stations and forcemains that will service future development in Airdrie and convey wastewater to Calgary.
