COUNCIL START TIMES ARE CHANGING
On May 15, 2017, Council made a motion to change Council meeting start times.
Beginning with the November 6 meeting, Council meetings will occur during the afternoon of the first and third Monday of each month.
Here’s a look at how a typical Council meeting will go under the new schedule:
1:30 p.m. – In camera session (closed to the public)
3:30 p.m. – Meeting opens for general public viewing
5:00 p.m. – Short break
5:30 p.m. – ALL public input sessions, including Public Question Period and Public Hearings
Members of the public are encouraged to attend and for that reason, the timing for opportunities of public participation will remain relatively consistent with past Council meetings.
