Childcare offers you the opportunity to leave your child in a safe and fun space while you exercise or enjoy the centre's amenities (please note that you must remain within the facility while your child is in our care). Continuous monthly pass holders have access to unlimited monthly childcare for one low rate:
Due to space limitations we do enforce a no-show/cancellation policy for our childcare bookings. We know mistakes happen, kids get sick, and sometimes your schedule can be unpredictable. If you have to cancel your booking, please reach out as soon as possible so we are able to open up your spot to another family.
If you do not show up for your scheduled time you will be given an initial warning. Any further no-shows after your initial warning will result in future bookings being removed from the system.
Genesis Place staff reserve the right to withdraw bookings or cancel childcare memberships in the event of frequent no-shows or booking cancellations.
The open, spacious room is designed so that there is something for all children to do when they are here. Crafts, snack table, a variety of engaging centres and an area for babies to crawl and explore. We have a bright, inviting space where all children feel welcomed and can enjoy their time while you enjoy yours.
In order to make this the most positive experience for your child, we allow parents to stay in the room for the first visit.
Children can bring in a small snack and a water bottle for their visit. A small bag with a change of clothes, and diapers/pullups as required, is a helpful idea as sometimes messes and accidents happen. All wet or soiled diapers will be changed while the children are in our care.
We do ask that children don't bring any toys from home, as we don't want to take the chance of them getting lost or damaged.
Infants may bring in a blanket and any other soothing cuddle toy to help them settle in.
Children will have the opportunity to choose any of the centres to explore. We have blocks, cars/trucks, housekeeping, reading corner, things to build with, things to create with and an assortment of crafts and art activities.
We care for children ages newborn to six.
Our ratio is one staff member to six children (maximum up to two babies) when they are alone. We have the capacity for 18 children at one time, including four infants, with three staff in the room.
We are committed to the safety of all children in our care. All staff are first aid and CPR certified. We follow strict child to staff ratios in order to maintain the safety and security of all children.
