Parks and pathways

A trip to one of Airdrie's off-leash dog parks is the perfect doggy date.

Off-leash Dog Parks

You can also visit one of Airdrie's regional parks to find endless trails for leashed pets. Learn more about Chinook Winds Park, East Lake Park, Fletcher Park, Nose Creek Park, and the Trans Canada Trail

Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and ensuring pets are in control at all times – on or off leash. For their safety, dogs should not swim in Airdrie’s canals or storm ponds, so it is recomended you keep to the parks and pathways as you explore our city!

Please note: Dogs are not permitted during operational hours at the Iron Horse Miniature Train Park, Airdrie Farmers Market, Chinook Winds Splash Park or at public playgrounds.

Activities

Try twilight golf with your furry friend. Golfers can bring their leashed dogs on the course from Friday to Sunday, after 4 p.m. at no extra cost. Don't forget the pet waste bags.
