August 6 | Bert Church LIVE Theatre

Kick off the weekend at Bert Church LIVE Theatre as we launch the 2026–27 Presented Series. Join us at 6 p.m. for a free evening of live music, conversation and a first look at the exciting performances coming to Airdrie this season.

Celebrate 25 Years of "Doin' It on the Grass"
August 8 | Nose Creek Regional Park

The Time Travellers Car Club returns with the 25th Anniversary of Doin' It on the Grass, one of Airdrie's most beloved summer traditions.

With up to 500 classic vehicles, live music, entertainment and food trucks, this free event offers something for car enthusiasts and families alike. Take a stroll down memory lane while supporting a local organization that donates proceeds each year to four community charities.

Experience Lights at the Museum
August 8 | Nose Creek Valley Museum

Just steps from the car show, the Nose Creek Valley Museum comes alive with Lights at the Museum, hosted in partnership with the Airdrie Festival of Lights.

Enjoy a free family fair from noon to 6 p.m. featuring carnival games, a garden show and activities for all ages. The fun continues with a Beer Garden from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., line dancing demonstrations, and a barn dance from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. featuring the Port City Maniacs. It's a full day of family fun, local entertainment and community spirit.

Get Colourful at Bubble Chase 5K
August 9 | East Lake Regional Park

Wrap up the weekend at the Airdrie Bubble Chase 5K, where running meets pure fun.

Participants can choose a 2.5 km or 5 km route filled with giant bubble bogs, music, colour and laughter. Designed for runners, walkers and families alike, Bubble Chase is all about making memories and enjoying an active day outdoors.
